Welcome to the World Jayda

Jayda Elle Blake was born June 6, 2009 at 11:05 pm. to Ashely and Chase Blake. Jayda was born 13 premature and weighed in at 1 lb. 9 oz. and is 13 inches long.

Here is the story of her life a little bit before she came to this earth and what she's been up to since she got here.....

May 25th Ashley's water began to leak. She was immediately admitted to the hospital and put on permanent bed rest. She was only 24 weeks and 6 days. Doctors did an ultrasound and found a blockage in her tummy.

Jayda is now two weeks and doing really well. She will be flown to Salt Lake City in a few weeks for surgery on her blockage. She is almost back up to her birth weight and doctors hope that she will be around 3 pounds in a few weeks.
